"It Doesn't Take a Smart One": Spotlight Moments

Last week on the March 23rd episode of Survivor, the hit CBS reality show, Stephanie was voted to Redemption Island by her Zapatera tribe members. Matt was still well and alive, and waiting for the Duel.

Survivor did not disappoint with its latest Redemption Island Duel. It was absolutely a mind contest, as opposed to the more physical competitions we have seen in the past. Similar to the card game of Memory, Matt and Stephanie needed to flip over two symbols and get as many matches as possible. First time out, BOTH Survivor contestants got pairs.

They were both showing off their luck in the beginning. It took five matches to win, and in the end, it was Matt who won.

Again.

As Matt walked away, his words to the observers from those still at camp were, "Yeah, I won another one."

Back at the Ometepe camp, tempers peeked when Phillip became annoyed with Rob and the support he receives from other tribe members.

Primarily boiling over the top when Phillip wanted some of Rob's rice and others would not allow it.

It's all about the rice.

The Challenge

It truly was one to come down to the final seconds, but let's start at the beginning...

Teams needed to clear obstacles and shoot six balls into a basket. Winners received immunity and a reward with an assortment of food. More than rice.

Even teams with six competitors on each side. It came down to the final basket to be made, and Grant pulled it off for the Ometepe tribe. Therefore, yet again, Zapatera would be facing Tribal Council.

At Tribal Council, just like Jeff said, the group of six was going to be broken up. After all votes were casted and tallied, host Jeff Probst delivered the news that Sarita would be sent to Redemption Island. Find out if she will be the first to take out the unbeatable Matt next week!
