Pictures of the Philadelphia Zoo
66About the Philadelphia Zoo
In total there are over 1,300 animals living in America's first zoo. Whether you are interested in seeing mammals such as tigers and bears or reptiles like alligators and turtles, the Philadelphia Zoo has something for everybody.
Please enjoy the photographs below taken on my first visit of this summer.
It truly is a zoo to visit if you are a child, an adult, or anyone in between.
Keep in mind the Philadelphia Zoo is open every day of the year except for major holidays, and sometimes the best days to visit are when there are a few clouds in the sky. The less heat, the more likely the animals are to come out!
