And the Best Song According to History...
Well, clearly, if you read my list, you now know what it is in my opinion.
However, just so you know, the best selling single of all time is Thriller, obviously, by Michael Jackson, which don't get me wrong, I liked. Just not my favorite.
Sooo... did you download the songs yet?

Great List!
Wow... this is an interesting list. Believe it or not, I have only one (the Rolling Stones song) on my iPod and I have over 14,000 songs on it!!
I'd have a lot of trouble compiling a list this comprehensive. We may have different tastes, but we both love music -- very cool!
The Lemonheads do a great cover of Mrs. Robinson. Check it out. I think you might like it.
Great list but I might have to add White Snake "Here we go again" that was a great song during the 80s or "Vogue" from Madonna...sorry, stuck on the 80s but still your list is awesome.
Like your list Kristen.
I have a few of these already on my ipod but there are still a few I think I need to get. :D
One of my favorites on mine is Sister Sledge "Thinking Of You", love it!
i like it nic thanx
i got none of these on my ipod. none.
Some great songs there!
Great list
I agree with Dylan, Billie Joel and Armstrong, but why would I take Mariah Carey or Whitney Houston (or James Blunt??) to my ipod?
Billie Joel is the man. Great list
I love the variation of eras in your selection but had to read it twice (in disbelief) that you left out U2's One,in fact no U2 songs, not a fan I take it.
i love you.i have all these songs on my ipod( except for angel by sarah mclachlan because it reminds me of sad puppies) and i didn't even need to look at this list before putting them on there.
ipod has some awesome products I love their inventions. However they tend to be kinda expensive but I guess you get what you paid for so it is all worth it.
eh sum great songs, missin heaps, u clearly older, u missed many but...
No Beatles? I'm absolutely appalled.
I kept waiting to see, "It's not Unusual" by Tom Jones. I don't really like the song...but am compelled to listen. LOL Interesting read. Thanks.

I would say that 50 percent of these songs are on my Ipod. I guess I'll have to download the other 50. Thanks for sharing.
