ABC's Brothers and Sisters

A brilliant cast makes up the Walker family, and it is their talents along with the unique writing which makes the show worth watching.

Sally Field portrays Nora Walker, the head of the family, after her husband passed away on the series' first episode. Her home frequently welcomes her children and their complicated lives, including:

1. Kitty, a mother, conservative former radio host, who was married to Senator McCallister.
2. Justin, the youngest child, a war veteran, married to Rebecca.
3. Tommy, the former president of the family business before he embezzled money.
4. Sarah, the oldest child, and single mother of two children.
5. Kevin, a lawyer, married to Scotty.

The newest season will premiere on Sunday, September 26th at 10pm on ABC, jumping ahead one year from the Spring finale.

We last saw the Walkers joined by a horrific car crash with both Kitty's husband, Robert, and Rebecca's mother, Holly, left in critical condition.

The California family from Brothers and Sisters first premiered on September 24, 2006 and has since been nominated for Emmy and Golden Globe awards.

Jack and Bobby, (a show I had loved but unfortunately was cancelled after only one season) is actually the origin of the name Robert McCallister, (Kitty's husband). The executive producer from the first season of Brothers and Sisters originally produced Jack and Bobby and kept the same name or a character.
