Amazing Race: Unfinished Business - Episode 3

We Had a Lot of Evil Spirits Apparently (Japan)

Zev and Justin were first to depart to Tokyo, Japan, the first stop on this leg of the race. However, due to a delay with their flight, they lost this top spot to Gary and Mallory.

Then after this team became lost while navigating the streets, Ron and Christina took the lead but Gary and Mallory remained second.

Perform Yabusame Ritual

In this Road Block, teams needed to observe a demonstration and perform a ritual in front of a judge. After receiving the judge's approval, they had to sit on a spinning horse and shoot an arrow at a target while moving.

Jen and Kisha took over first place, driving to the next clue.

While some teams were learning the ritual and others were racing towards the challenge, Jaime and Cara faced their own dilemma after getting into a minor car accident, sideswiping a car and taking off its side mirror.

Detour Choices

First, Prayer of Purity involved teams learning a prayer that also has motions and after completing the prayer, stand under a waterfall with a temperature of forty-five degrees for one full minute.

The second choice was Frog of Luck. Teams needed to search for a buried frog in a lake of mud while being pummeled with handfuls of mud from onlookers.

Zev and Justin took back the lead, after completing the Frog of Luck Detour.

The Pit Stop

Teams arrived in the following order:

1. Zev and Justin

2. Gary and Mallory

3. Flight Tim and Big Easy

4. Ron and Christina

5. Kisha and Jen

6. Jet and Cord

7. Kent and Vyxsin

8. Margie and Luke

9. Jaime and Cara

The last team to arrive was father and son, Mel and Mike, and they were eliminated from the race.
